BALLS is the premier Experimental Rocket Launch in the continental United States, held annually in the Black Rock Desert north of Reno, near Gerlach, Nevada.
This event is focused on serious research and experimental rocketry. Registration is required for everyone attending, whether flyer or spectator. On-site registration is available at $150 for flyers and $50 for spectators.
BALLS is a research-focused event and is not intended as a family event, attendance by children is discouraged. Please read all of the rules before registering.

Volunteers Needed for RANGE Duty Positions at BALLs
We're looking for volunteers to help cover the Range Duty positions at BALLs. We currently need additional support for RSO, Away Cell, and Pad Manager duties, and we'd appreciate anyone who is willing to step in and help.
These roles are an important part of keeping range operations safe, organized, and enjoyable for everyone. If you're planning to attend and can spare some time, please consider volunteering. The more members who participate, the easier it is to share the workload and ensure everything runs smoothly.
